June Messages

Years ago, right after my daughter passed away, I subscribed to Message from God. I felt that I really needed and wanted something that could give me some daily encouragement to get me through my grief. Now I know, these aren't actual messages from God Himself, but I do like to think that the person on the other end of these messages is being led by God. Some days the messages are short and sweet. They may or may not make any sense to me, however there are also days that the message is exactly what I needed! Today for example, I have been struggling to get my thoughts, my time, and life in general, together. I started this site for my Amazon Affiliate's program with the dream of being vigilant on posting demo videos, suggestions, and/or product reviews. I have made many videos, but I either hate the way I look or the sound of my voice, so I haven't bothered to repost them. So, I guess you can say that I have writer's block, until today! My Message from God really helped because it's what I have based my platform on! Beauty in everything! I wanted to share it with you!

Today, God wants you to know that this world is filled with beauty. Allow yourself time to be nourished with the beauty of this world. Watch the sun rise, gaze at the ripples of water on the lake, listen to the songbirds, feel the breath of the breeze, glory in the colors of the sunset, feel the magic of the moon. This beauty is air for your soul.

In 2016, my husband and I were blessed with the opportunity to leave rural living and move to the mountains. We always talked about having a cabin in the mountains. When our son graduated high school and eventually moved out on his own, we decided to sell our home that we raised our 2 kids in for 17 years. We loved our home and, neighborhood and neighbors, so making the decision to sell was really hard. We drove up to Jasper to look at some land with a waterfall running down beside it. We hiked the entire length of the property! It was just what we wanted! As we were leaving, a gentleman stopped us at the cabin just above the land we were looking at. Come to find out he was a realtor for the area. We told him we were wanting to "downsize" and build a small cabin in the mountains. He offered to let us see his cabin and just what "downsizing" meant in the mountains. We stepped in the foyer and made our way into the great room. The back wall was nothing, but windows and you could see for miles! We were overlooking Jasper! Come to find out, Mr. Gary was selling his cabin! My husband fell in love with it and although there wasn't a chance of "downsizing", because the cabin sits on a full finished basement, we didn't care! The main floor has the living room, kitchen, dining, half bath, laundry, master bedroom, master bath, and a sunroom. It was all we needed! Downstairs has a large family room, 2 bedrooms, a full bath, another master bedroom, storage wet room, and storm room. We have pretty much kept the door closed to the basement, until recently, when my husband made the family room his office and we moved our exercise equipment in there.

Anyway, back to my message. Since moving up here, we have experienced most of those things! We see all the sunsets when the clouds aren't covering us. We are at 2940 Elevation! We get to walk on our trails and hear all the beautiful birds singing. We can sit and watch all the hummingbird's feed on the back porch. There is always a breeze, in fact we are almost in July, and I still have to wear a sweater in the evenings! We get to watch the full moons set which is such a magnificent site! There is so much beauty and tranquility here!

When you have the opportunity to enjoy all the beauty that God has to offer us, take those moments! Tomorrow is never promised!
